Porta-Pack Plus
LDC's Porta-Pack Plus , the most technologically advanced power supply available today, has received rave reviews from customers both old and new. For those customers who switched from the "old style" power supply to the new Porta Plus, the difference is astounding. For the first time, brush plating is truly a

a portable operation. The Porta-Pack can be easily toted from site to site and even brought on an airplane as "carryon" baggage. This saves field platers that hassle of having to crate and pre-ship the power supply risking damage to the unit. The Porta-Pack Plus is adaptable to difficult to reach and crowded repair areas (dimensions of the 50 amp unit: 18 1/4"L x 7 1/2"W x 5 3/4"T .

Versa-Plater
W.R. Associates has developed a plating touch-up tool that works wonders when trying to plate in tight areas. The platinum clad anode is .0 15 " thick x 3/4" wide x 3" long.

It is malleable and can be molded to fit in many hard to reach surfaces, flat or curved. The Versa-Plater has been used with great success in many industries and for numerous applications including Cadmium touch-up on landing gear, PCB repair, and decorative.
Our technicians have put the Versa-Plater to use in many plating shops across the globe. It is compatible with most plating set-ups. And, as with any platinum anode, it is virtually permanent.

LDC Turning Head
LDC has re-designed and improved upon its top-of-the-line Turning Device for rotating parts to be plated. The new design offers several features and benefits worth noting: turning.head.jpg (13071 bytes)

1. Highly accurate tachometer allows greater control at low rpms.
2.All stainless steel and Teflon coated chuck to prevent corrosion
3.Three jaw chuck allows for just one adjustment instead of four individual adjustments with the four jaw chuck.
4. Extremely quiet operation, cuts down on annoying background noise. 5.Electrical outlet on machine with on/off switch for easy plug in and control of pumps or other auxiliary equipment.

Nickel Acid
LDC has added a new Nickel acid solution to its chemical line. LDC-2807 Nickel Acid is a dense Nickel that can easily deposit several thousandths while operating at room temperature. Nickel Acid also provides good corrosion resistance. LDC-2807 provides excellent adhesion eliminating the need for a preplate For more information on how to determine the best LDC nickel solution for your application, please see the section titled: "Product Line Review", that features LDC's entire nickel chemical line.
